MiniBytez
Careers

Do work that reaches production.

MiniBytez brings technology, engineering, architecture and delivery together to solve real operational problems. It suits people who like difficult problems, want to understand how an organisation actually works, build systems that can be maintained, and stay responsible for them after they ship.

How we work

Remote-first, by design.

MiniBytez operates as a remote-first company. Our team collaborates digitally across projects and client engagements, with in-person meetings, workshops and delivery support arranged where the work requires it. Working arrangements are designed around the role, client requirements and effective collaboration.

  • Day to day is digital

Design, engineering, reviews and client conversations happen online by default.

  • In person when the work needs it

Discovery workshops, on-site integration and go-live support are arranged where an engagement calls for them.

  • The engagement shapes the arrangement

What a role involves, and what a client needs, decide how and where the work is done.

  • Remote is not the same as disconnected

Decisions are written down and work is visible, so nobody has to be in the room to know where things stand.

What we value in people

The same things we hold the company to.

These are the company's own values, turned to face the person doing the work. They show up in a scope, a design review and a system still running a year later.

  • Ownership

Take responsibility for the outcome, not only the task, including after it reaches production.

  • Clarity

Make assumptions, trade-offs and decisions explicit, and write them down.

  • Curiosity about the operation

Understand how the work is really done, exceptions included, before choosing the technology.

  • Engineering discipline

Build systems that can be understood, maintained and operated for years, not only demonstrated.

  • Collaboration

Work well alongside clients, specialists and existing teams, and say plainly when something is not the right fit.

The work

Five domains, from the first conversation to the running system.

The same five capability domains our clients hire us for. Most of the work spans several of them, and all of it runs the full route from understanding the operation to operating what we built.

  • Customer and revenue operations

Acquiring customers, keeping them, billing them, and holding one conversation with them across every channel they use.

  • Enterprise operations

Running the organisation day to day: work, approvals, assets, sites, and the people doing the job.

  • Data and intelligence

One set of agreed numbers, each defined once, that finance and operations both recognise as theirs.

  • Integration and automation

Making systems that were never designed to talk behave like one, and taking the repetitive work off people.

  • Digital products and platforms

The software your customers and your staff actually touch, built to be run for years rather than demonstrated once.

Every engagement runs the same route

  1. Understand
  2. Design
  3. Build
  4. Integrate
  5. Launch
  6. Operate & Improve

Discovery, architecture, software engineering, integration, data, automation and AI where it earns its place, testing, deployment and operation. People here work across that route rather than on one slice of it.

Open opportunities

No published openings right now.

Good people do not always arrive when a role is advertised. If the work above is the work you want to do, tell us, and we will keep you in mind when it fits.

Please do not send identity documents or other sensitive personal information. How we handle what you send is covered by our Privacy Policy.

What to tell us

  • What you have worked on
  • What you personally owned in that work
  • The problem it was solving
  • Links to work, code or writing, where you can share them
  • The kind of work you want to do next

A few honest paragraphs beat a polished cover letter. A public code profile is welcome but never required.

Tell us what your business is trying to do.

The first conversation is about your operation, not our services. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.

A few sentences is enough. Please do not include passwords, card details or personal data about your customers.
